The Loretta Johnson Global Abstinence Project & Movement
Promoting Abstinence especially to Black and Hispanic Women & Girls in United States, Africa and worldwide
Because of this, Kim Wilson focuses on speaking about and promoting Abstinence especially to Black and Hispanic women and girls in the United States, who receive it the least, but need it the most; as well as in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and world-wide to help them experience God's best for their lives. She focuses on the facts, research and experiences to promote Abstinence as the only 100% method to avoid the problems that come with pregnancies outside of marriage and sexually transmitted diseases because this solution to the problem is not promoted nearly enough to women and girls in Black and Hispanic communities.
Kim has served as an Adjunct Professor for Regent University and Liberty University (two major Christian Universities) and author of several books and training guides including her latest book entitled, "The ABSTINENCE Handbook: for Women and Girls throughout the World" for the purpose of reaching, communicating and promoting the benefits of Abstinence especially to Black and Hispanic women and girls in the United States, as well as sub-Saharan Africa and world-wide. This book is designed to be quick- to-read and easy to follow and is already available in paperback, Kindle version, English and Spanish versions and Audio Book CD.
Kim is also the Founder of God's Active People/G.A.P Ministries which has been in existence for over 26 years and grown into (7) major divisions for the benefit of others in the name of Jesus Christ in the United States and on 6 continents (Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia) and numerous countries around the world. About Kim Wilson, Founder
Kim Wilson, Founder of The Loretta Johnson Global Abstinence Project & Movement, is a Speaker; Author; Professor; Researcher; and Consultant. Kim focuses on speaking about the urgency of promoting abstinence especially to Black and Hispanic Women and Girls, who need it the most, but receive it the least. She also presents specific workshops and seminars that she has developed, entitled "Experiencing God's Best for Your Life through Abstinence" (for Women and Girls) and "Abstinence is the Cure" (for Leaders and Parents). The information from the workshop is being presented throughout the United States and on 3 continents and over 20 countries, to approximately 10,000 women and girls each month by Kim Wilson, as well as other presenters in Africa, Asia and North America and continues to increase.
HIV/AIDS related illness is now the leading cause of death among Black women ages 25-34 and Black women account for approximately 70% of new cases of HIV in the U.S. (and in certain major cities, percentages are as high as some sub-Saharan African countries). Also, 72% of Black children are born outside-of-wedlock and being raised in single parent homes headed mostly by their mothers (and no father). Hispanic women account for 21% of new cases of HIV in the U.S and 53% of Hispanic children are born outside-of-wedlock and being raised in single parent homes headed mostly by their mothers (and no father). Therefore, if we lose Black and Hispanic single mothers to sexually transmitted diseases, a large percentage of children will have no parent they can depend on or who will want to raise them (which has already happened to a generation of children in sub-Saharan Africa). This is now an epidemic that is taking and destroying the lives of too many women and girls and leads to a horrible future for too many children in the United States and world-wide.
